How to create an additional FTP user

You can have up to 3 additional Windows users (for a total of four) on each web hosting account. Additional users can be used for password protection and FTP. 

To set up an additional FTP user: 
  1. Log in to Control Panel and go to the User Manager.
  2. Create a new user by entering the required information in the blank fields under "Active Users" (the blank fields will not be visible if you already have 3 additional users).
  3. Go to the Permission Manager.
  4. Assign permissions for the User. For example, if you want this user to have read/write access to your entire site, assign Read and Write permission to the user in the root directory.
