I lost my Username and/or Password for my Master Control Panel. How can I retrieve my account information?

Note: This article is relates to the Master Control Panel, not the regular hosting control panel. See this Knowledge Base article for username/password retrieval for the regular control panel.

If you need the Master Control Panel Password

If you forgot your Master Control Panel password, you can use the Master Control Panel password retrieval system. Go to the Master Control Panel Binding interface at https://master.discountasp.net/. Use the "Forgot your Password?" password retrieval system. Type in your Master Control Panel email address. The Master Control Panel Password will be emailed to the Master Control Panel admin.

If you did not receive the email, please also make sure to check your Spam/Junk/Bulk email folder for emails as many spam filters will filter legitimate emails. If you are using spam filters, please whitelist the DiscountASP.NET domain name.

If you need the Master Control Panel Username and Password

If you forgot both your Master Control Panel username and password, then you will need to create a new Master Control Panel. Since the Master Control Panel is associated with multiple hosting accounts, we do not resend or reset the Master Control Panel login.

Can I log into multiple control panels with one login?

We have a Hosting Account Binding system to allow customers to bind multiple hosting accounts so that each individual account control panel can be accessed with one login.

Master Account Binding System

To access, visit: https://master.discountasp.net
To setup: Click "Create a New Master Account"
NOTE: Your "Master" username will be an email address, which you must specify when creating a Master Account.
NOTE: You will need to go through an email address verification to complete Master Account setup. You will need to check your email right away to validate, without closing the browser.

Binding Multiple Accounts

Log into: https://master.discountasp.net
Navigate to the "Bind A Hosting Account" tab
Input Username/Password/Other Info for each individual hosting account.

Managing Bound Accounts

To edit/delete bound accounts, go to https://master.discountasp.net
Navigate to the "Bound Account List/Manager" tab
You can Edit or Delete your bound accounts.

Accessing Multiple Control Panels

Visit control panel login page: https://my.discountasp.net
Instead of using your individual hosting account Username, use your Master Email Address as your Username
Use your Master Account password
This will give you access to the Master Control Panel
Now you can toggle between the control panel of all your Bound Accounts using the drop down selector.

I lost my Username and/or Password for my Account/Control Panel. How can I retrieve it?

There are three ways to go about retrieving your Username and/or Password:

1. Use the "Forgot your Password?" password retrieval system on the Control Panel login page. This assumes that you know the account username. The Password will be emailed to the admin contact email address.

2. Send an email to the Technical Support Department requesting that we resend your Welcome Letter. Email Support@discountasp.net. Please include the domain name of the account you wish to access. We will resend the welcome email to the admin contact email address only.

Note: This assumes that you have access to retrieve email from the primary email address email address you set up in your contact information . Please also make sure to check your Spam/Junk/Bulk email folder for emails as many spam filters will filter legitimate emails. If you are using spam filters, please whitelist the DiscountASP.NET domain name.

3. If you do not have access to the primary email address, then we will require authentication of the account information request. To protect our customers, we do not give out account information on request.

To begin the authentication process, send an email to billing@discountasp.net requesting your account information. Please include your account domain name.

How do I keep email from DiscountASP.NET from going to my Yahoo Bulk Mail folder?

Yahoo spam filters can filter out email sent from DiscountASP.NET if the security level is set high. Email in the Yahoo Bulk Mail folder is removed after 1 month, 2 weeks, or 1 week, depending on your settings. In order to avoid missing any emails sent by DiscountASP.NET, take the following steps:

Go to: Mail Options > Filters
Click "Add"

For the filter name, choose any name you would like: discountasp (recommended)

From Header: Contains (select in dropdown): discountasp.net (input in text field)

Then: Inbox (recommended)
