SQL Express is designed for desktop database development purposes and is not suitable for a shared hosting environment due to security and performance issues. Microsoft actually recommends disabling this service on shared hosting platforms.
However, you can use the SQL 2005 Attach tool in
control panel to attach a SQL Express database to our SQL 2005 database.
