However, if you do not purchase an SSL certificate through us, for the widest possible browser compatibility we recommend the use of "single root" certificates, such as those issued by:
SSL certificates issued by the companies listed below may be susceptible to certain performance issues (now or in the future). Some certificates from these issuers can cause errors or warnings in some web browsers, due to certificate name conflicts. Typically these issues affect users of Netscape, Firefox and other browsers, but the errors can affect users of older versions of Internet Explorer as well.
